I am a California-based mosaic artist working in glass, creating site-specific works for public, architectural, and private spaces. My work is grounded in light — how it moves across surface, how it transforms space, and how it quietly shapes human experience.
For over two decades, I have worked primarily in mosaic, drawn to the material for its durability, luminosity, and capacity to hold both structure and poetry. My projects range from large-scale public
installations and healthcare environments to integrated residential works and individual commissions, each developed in close relationship to its site.
Much of my work is guided by intuition and observation rather than fixed concepts. I pay attention to how a space is used, how people move through it, and how light behaves over the course of a day. From there, imagery and color emerge — often through abstraction — allowing the work to feel embedded rather than applied.
Collaboration is central to my process. Whether working with architects, designers, institutions, or private clients, I approach each project as a dialogue. This often includes incorporating personal or site-specific elements into the work, ensuring that each piece carries both aesthetic and emotional resonance.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in history, a background that continues to inform my approach to research-driven public art projects and historically grounded installations. My work has been commissioned by museums, hospitals, civic agencies, and private collectors, and is permanently installed throughout California.
At its core, my practice is about creating moments of presence — works that invite pause, offer quiet clarity, and allow light to become an active participant in the experience of a place.
